HHMI Procurement department procures the goods and services needed for HHMI’s program and administrative functions in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
The department endeavors to obtain the best mix of price, quality, execution, and service and to avoid becoming too dependent on any one source of critical goods and services. Decisions are made about vendor qualification based on these criteria. HHMI does not discriminate in vendor selection on the basis of the race, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation of preference, or other similar characteristics of the owners or employees of the vendor.
The department periodically reviews its vendor relationships to determine whether the existing vendors continue to satisfy these overall objectives.

Supplier/Payee Registration Form
HHMI requires that new suppliers complete a registration form. This form is also required for existing suppliers/payees that want to update or make changes to their existing supplier/payee information. This information is validated by HHMI's Procurement department before being entered into the Institute's processing systems.
